Josh Laikeman

Josh Laikeman is a project manager at Cornerstone Homes with over two decades of hands-on building experience. Since joining the team, josh has delivered exceptional results both in his craft and in client relationships. Josh’s journey in construction began at age 10, working alongside his father and contributing to his first custom home project at age 15.

His professional background includes over fifteen years of work as a handyman, landscaper, and remodeler and spending time in a cabinet shop perfecting various finishing techniques. Over the years, he’s developed specialized expertise in trim carpentry, cabinetry, kitchen design, and understanding building performance and engineering all while managing a number of diverse remodeling projects. This comprehensive experience has deepened Josh’s understanding of how environmental factors, both inside and out, influence the livability and longevity of a home.

Josh is particularly passionate about sustainable building practices, having lived in and worked on numerous green and alternative construction projects in Crestone, Colorado. He believes thoughtfully designed spaces not only reduce our impact through superior performance but also create nuanced environments where people feel more expressed and relaxed.

A naturalist at heart, Josh can be found hiking local trails, foraging in nature, playing piano, dancing, or spending quality time with his twin daughters.
