Drake Shepit

Drake serves as a site supervisor, currently working at The Silo community in Lafayette, alongside Frank Zuppo. He brings a natural sense of ownership to every home he oversees and approaches each build with the preparedness and attention to detail that custom construction demands. Drake’s background is anything but one dimensional. After earning his Bachelor of Science in 2015, he spent several years in oil and gas as a stormwater and spill prevention inspector, where he gained deep familiarity with database management, GIS software, and energy infrastructure before transitioning into commercial construction, working as a laborer, equipment operator, and field surveyor in Denver before earning a welding diploma from Lincoln Tech. That range of experience gives him a rare, well-rounded perspective on complex builds.

 Today, Drake works directly with subcontractors and clients through every phase of construction. His assertive, honest communication style keeps all parties aligned and ensures Cornerstone’s standards are upheld at every step.

 Outside of work, as a Colorado native and the youngest of four siblings, Drake is most at home spending time with his fiancée and 9-year-old son whether it’s cooking together, a family gathering, or coaching his son’s baseball and football teams. He is also a lifelong golfer, a dedicated gym goer, and always has a home project in progress for the people he loves most.
